Benefits of Inset Kitchen Sinks
Unlike undermount sinks, an inset sink requires no countertop modification: it simply sits on the surface. This means quick installation, compatibility with any kitchen, and the ability to replace an old model without renovation. Available in AISI 304 stainless steel and Kuarzite®, each sink combines aesthetics and daily functionality. Stainless steel offers a brushed finish that's hygienic and durable—ideal for those who appreciate contemporary style. Kuarzite® ensures compactness, robustness, and a natural stone effect that enhances any kitchen.
How to Choose Your Inset Sink
Consider three criteria: the number of bowls (single or double, depending on your space and habits), the presence of a drainer (practical if you have limited counter space), and the material (stainless steel for minimalist elegance, Kuarzite® for visual richness). Every model is designed to accommodate a kitchen faucet and can be paired with our design faucets for complete harmony. Our accessories (cutting boards, sink grids) enhance your everyday experience.
Every Evhoc sink is shipped within 24–48 business hours. Our team is available for any questions before and after purchase. Discover our Evhoc Care line for your sink's maintenance. Quality, design, and Italian craftsmanship.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do Evhoc inset sinks come with a hole for the faucet?
It depends on the material. Our stainless steel inset sinks come pre-drilled from production, ready for the faucet. Kuarzite® sinks are pre-marked (adhesive dot indicates the location)—to complete the hole, you'll need a 35 mm diamond-core drill bit. If you prefer, we offer a drilling service for €20: your Kuarzite® sink arrives pre-drilled at your door. In both cases, compatible with any Evhoc faucet and 90% of faucets on the market.
What countertop materials work with an inset sink?
Inset sinks are compatible with any countertop material: ceramic, laminate, wood, natural stone. There are no structural limitations. What matters is that your countertop is stable and the installation hole can be made. Versatility is one of the great advantages of this solution.
Do I really need a drainer, or can I skip it?
It's a personal choice. A drainer captures water runoff and keeps your countertop drier—useful if you have limited counter space. Many customers skip it for a cleaner, more streamlined look. It depends on your daily habits and the space around your sink.
