As already mentioned, despite characteristics such as resistance and durability, AISI 304 18/10 stainless steel may still be subject to scratches and marks on its surface after prolonged use, as is normal.
To keep the surface practically perfect over time, there are a few small precautions to take: to clean the sink, it is advisable to use neutral detergents and spread them with a soft cloth in case of light dirt.
To tackle more stubborn dirt, we recommend nylon sponges (scotch-brite). It is absolutely essential to avoid abrasive pads and non-stainless steel metal sponges, which could deeply scratch the material and give rise to reddish stains.
Furthermore, care must be taken not to leave corrosive solutions or metal utensils inside the sink. Finally, it is important not to leave high-salt and acidic foods in contact with the sink and always rinse with plenty of clean water.
